2009 membership forms are now available.

PLEASE BE THINKING ABOUT ITEMS TO DONATE TO THE SILENT AUCTION HELD AT OUR 13TH ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET IN BENEFIT OF OUR GRADUATING SENIOR MEMBER SCHOLARSHIPS. THE AWARDS BANQUET WILL BE FEBRUARY 22, 2009, AT THE TOM GREEN COUNTY 4-H BUILDING IN SAN ANGELO.

ALL 2008 MEMBERSHIPS WILL EXPIRE 1/3/09!

The 2008 JMGSC show season ends immediately following the conclusion of the meat goat show at the Sandhills Livestock Show. Memberships must be renewed at this time (or earlier) to be eligible to receive points for the next show season beginning with the next major after Sandhills.

Each member earns 5 points when dues are received*.

Your age division for 2009 will be based on your age as of 1/1/10.

*PLEASE NOTE:

Membership Rule #12 states: Each member of the JMGSC will pay an annual membership fee of $25.00. Members will be awarded points after dues are paid, NOT before. The date dues and fully completed membership forms are received by the JMGSC Executive Secretary will determine the date of membership. You will receive 5 points for entering and 5 extra bonus points if dues are received by January 31, 2009. Postmarked dates will NOT be accepted.

Clarifications: (1) If you forget to enclose a check or money order with your form, your membership is not effective until the money is RECEIVED.

(2) Postmark dates, dates of application and dates of check are NOT accepted as membership effective dates. Only the date the dues are RECEIVED in the JMGSC office are considered membership effective dates.

(3) There are NO exceptions to this rule. This rule applies equally to everyone!

(This rule has been in place since at least 2002.)

**Allow a MINIMUM of 5 regularly scheduled mail delivery days for mail to reach this office. This location does not have overnight mail!**
