The Junior Directors

Co-President - Stormy Teichelman

Stormy is a 17-year-old senior and has been showing goats for 10 years.  She also shows lambs and pigs and has ventured into the rabbit project this year.  Her favorite part of showing is getting to see and hang out with friends, and her least favorite is shearing and the early mornings.  Her most exciting wins came in 2005 at Fort Worth and Kansas City American Royal.  The funniest thing she has seen at a show was watching Kortney trip over her own feet while showing in Littlefield.  Hobbies Stormy enjoys include FFA, FCA, and hanging out with friends.  She plans to attend a junior college then transfer to Texas A&M and major in Animal Science or Ag Communication.  She is proud to have earned the Lonestar FFA degree and bright colors are her favorites.

Co-President - Adeline Fox

Seventeen-year-old senior, Adeline, has been showing goats for 8 years and also shows sheep.  She enjoys the trips across Texas and meeting up with all her friends at the shows.  She gets really tired of the early mornings, and her most exciting win came when she placed 2nd at Houston.  Watching Steve Teichelman give his goat a good luck kiss before a class was the funniest thing she has ever seen at a show.  She thinks it worked - the goat won!  Adeline's other hobbies include volleyball, track, UIL, FFA, and Anchor Club.  She plans to attend Texas A&M and major in Ag Communications.  She loves the color turquoise, the smell of gasoline and is honored to have received her Lonestar Degree.

Vice-President - Heather Harvey

A goat-shower for 9 years, this 17-year-old junior also shows lambs and pigs.  Heather loves meeting new people and getting to hang out with her friends at the shows.  She doesn't enjoy having to drive forever and the early mornings and late nights involved with showing.  Heather's most exciting wins included winning the Lauren Juelg Memorial jacket at the Star of Texas in Austin and the Reserve Overall and Sr. Showmanship in 2005.  Funniest event she witnessed at a show was when her mother and Kim Halfmann tried to wear miniskirts to the banquet.  Heather is also involved in NHS, FCA, FCCLA, FFA, church and enjoys hanging out with friends.  She plans to attend Texas A&M to pursue a degree in Animal Science and become an ag teacher.  She enjoys singing at church and FFA competition and dancing.

Secretary - Clay Eastwood

Reporter - Charlotte Taylor

Charlotte is a 17-year-old junior who has been showing goats for 9 years and also shows sheep.  She enjoys meeting new people, but dislikes shearing.  Winning Grand Champion at the San Angelo Stock Show in 2007 was Charlotte's most exciting win.  The funniest event she has witnessed at a show was when a kid got drug around the ring in San Antonio several times before he let go.  Charlotte enjoys basketball and volleyball and hopes to go to Texas A&M or Angelo State University.

Parliamentarian - Kortney Williams

Sophomore Kortney Williams has shown goats for 7 years and is 15 years old.  She also shows lambs and pigs.  Her favorite aspect of showing is getting to see her friends and knowing she is doing something more resourceful than sitting at home.  Her least favorite things include shearing and early mornings.  Kortney's most exciting win occurred when she got 2nd at State Fair and won the carcass contest.  Winning JMGSC in 2004 was also exciting.  Her memory of the funniest event witnessed at a show was watching Sterling try to get his runaway goat out from under a low profile trailer.  Her hobbies include AAU basketball, FCA, Livestock Judging, taking pictures and hanging out with friends.  After Kortney graduates, she would like to play basketball in college and major in Animal Science and/or Sports Medicine.  The club basketball team she plays on (Hooplo Premiere) has made 2 national championship appearances, becoming the 2006 BCI National Champions and runner-up in 2007.

Member - Baily Nickerson

Baily is a high school freshman who has been showing goats for 7 years.  She shows sheep as well.  Her favorite part of showing is meeting new people and her least favorite part is shearing.  Baily's most exciting win came last year when she won Overall in the JMGSC.  Seeing Stormy tackle her goat was the funniest thing she has seen at a show.  After graduation, Baily wants to attend Texas A&M and become a vet.  She is proud to have won Overall in the 4-H speed events and advanced to state.
