The following showmanship point system goes
into effect with the 2007 season.
All exhibitors in a showmanship class must be placed. 1st place
receives the number of points equivalent to the number of exhibitors in the
class. The following places receive one point less than the exhibitor
placing just above them. Every showmanship exhibitor will receive at least
one point.

WEIGHT CLASSES
** In accordance with
JMGSC rules, shows must now place and report a MINIMUM of 12 goats per class, if
classes break with at least 12. For classes of 25 or larger, shows must place
and report HALF the class, rounded up. For instance, for classes of 2-11, shows
must place ALL; for classes of 12-24, shows must place 12; for a class of 25,
shows must place 13 goats, etc. The
maximum number a show has to place is 15 per class.
